How it Works!
The Maverick Platinum Series Salt Whole House System is an all-in-one product that use 7 stages of back-washable filtration media instead of replaceable filters and reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink. By using the most up to date technology and 7 different stages of back-washable filtration medias (each stage of media filters different contaminants from the water to give you clean, filtered drinking water for the entire home, not just the kitchen sink with reverse osmosis) (each stage of filtration media is back-washable so it regenerates and is reusable for the life of the system) the system will automatically back-wash every 7 - 14 days; which means that there is No Maintenance, there is No Reverse Osmosis needed and there are No Filters to Buy or Replace for the entire lifetime of the systems! This alone saves our customers hundreds of dollars each year with No Annual Costs, and equates to thousands of dollars in savings over the lifetime of the system with No Ongoing or Future Costs after installation.

Individually and specifically programed for each customers needs, based on their particular water hardness.
Stage 1 - Turbidex
Sediment filtration media which removes suspended sediment in water to improve turbidity and water quality. Turbidex is efficient down to the 3-5 micron range. Certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 42
Stage 2 - KDF 55
Designed specifically for removing or reducing chlorine and water-soluble heavy metals. KDF 55 Process Media can remove up to 99% of water-soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals. All KDF Process Media forms are effective in controlling the buildup of bacteria, algae, fungi and scale. KDF55 received NSF International Certification and is certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 - drinking water treatment units.
Stage 3 - Catalytic Carbon
The highest grade of carbon available for drinking water filtration, the microporous structure provides a much longer service life than lower grades of carbons found in other systems. The catalytic carbon used in our Platinum Series removes chlorine, chloramines, bromate, PFAS, PFOS, VOC’s, THM’s, pesticides, herbicides, pharmaceuticals, and many more harmful & unwanted chemical compounds from water. Certifications: NSF/ANSI Standard 61 & Standard 42, EN12915-1, AWWA B604-05, Kosher Certified.
Stage 4 - Jacobi Coconut Carbon
Its enhanced microporosity makes it well suited for the removal of low molecular weight organic compounds and their chlorinated by-products such as chloroform and other trihalomethanes (THM’s). It is also ideally suited for the removal of oxidizing agents such as chlorine and ozone from process water. Certifications: NSF/ANSI Standard 61, EN12915-1, AWWA B604, Kosher Certified, Food Chemicals Codex.
Stage 5 - Katalox Light
Advanced Filtration Media for suspended solids down to 3 microns, heavy metals, sediments & organics including: Arsenic, Lead, Zinc, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Hydrogen Sulfide, Radium, Uranium & other Radionuclides, and heavy metals. WQA Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for Drinking Water Applications, NSF/ANSI Standard 372 Lead Free Compliance.
Stage 6 - High Grade Crosslinked Resin
Shallow Shell Technology SSTC60 High Grade Crosslinked Resin provides Industrial strength water softening capabilities with lower backwash rinse volumes. Also provides highly effective iron removal. Certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 61
Stage 7 - Quartz Mineral Stone Polisher
Water passes through a media bed of quartz mineral stone removing suspended solids, and sedimentation. Allowing for maximum water distribution, efficiency and improved water taste. Certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 61

Patented Vortech Plate
Vortech Distribution Technology creates even water flow distribution which eliminates channeling in media beds. The design creates fluidity of the media bed and extends contaminant removal capacity; which means less regenerations and significant reduction of water use… saving water, and the environment, with backwash flow rate reductions of at least 30%.
